The Lord has blessed us and we are so undeserving. We recently moved to Florida and feel like we are on an eternal vacation! We love our church, our family and friends, and are enjoying life on the nature coast. My husband is in the ministry and my son is a student at UCF. I am a fan of actions, not words. I despise racism. I think we should be the change we wish to see in others. My life verse is I Corinthians 15:58.
I'm glad your sale went well and the rain held off. It's always a nice feeling...after the sale!
BTW....I stopped my one of our Walgreens tonight and looks for your size medium flip flop. No luck. Didn't see that particular one in any size. I'll look at the other Walgreens next time I'm by there.
Oh, it only took me a day to figure it out...What does that say about me...but I WAS pretty tired when I got home last night. Shopping is SUCH hard work, you know. Checked 2 Walgreens while I was away and did not find the shoes...still looking! Glad your sale went well. Didn't get your note about phone # till I got back...thanks, though...we'll try again.
So did you get the rain you needed after the yard sale? We finally got rain Friday evening (of course as we set up our tent!) and now a really good rain this evening. Our grass was already turning brown and only the weeds were growing.
Okay, I'm still on painkillers, and my brain is fried, so if you aren't egg soup, man you're gonna have to help me out here, 'cause seriously...it's bugging me!
Hey, Tracey, hope you find those other flipflops soon! How funny about the neighbor lady wanting to steal your customers. I bet you wanted to smack her!
I must be losin' it - the reason? Two fold.....First- I could have sworn I commented on this post this very morning.....and 2 -- I still have no idea what the pictures say. Ya gotta help me out girl!
Just had to pop over here when I saw from the Beth Moore blog (via your comment) that you were from South Alabama....(I work in Dothan, AL for law firm)....so I love meeting like faith bloggers!
I enjoyed your blog! You are gifted!....BTW---what is the interpretation of the pictures? Okay, I am slow tonight (not enough sleep from grandson visits) but I didn't get it..... help? Angie
Well, I get the real duh award. I didn't get it, and I didn't even realize there was anything to "get". I saw the pictures and never even gave them a second thought - just read your words! Am I dull or what????
Oh my word! "Eugene Nathaniel" finally came out of the lurking closet and left me a comment! I've already been thinking of a post involving you, my friend!
I'm proud to say "I got it". Maybe not the first time. I just quickly read your words and left my comment. Then I came back to see if you had commented on the flip flops or if someone else had found them, and I saw comments about figuring it out. I then really looked and I got it. After first thinking egg.pot.what's his name? It took me a few minutes, then it was egg.soup.ted. I know, kinda slow. Finally, I got it for real. Too funny! Guess I was egg.sauce.ted too!
22 sweet friends had to say...:

Got it! Glad you had a good sale. It's always nice to clean out stuff you don't need any more and make a little bit of cash at the same time.

So, nosey friend that I am, how much did you make, or can you show us in symbols? :-)
Let's don't do that again for a long time! I am glad to get some stuff cleaned out, though.
