Thank the good Lord for hair color! Okay, well in a round-a-bout way... thank the Lord for creating such geniuses to invent hair color!
Since I inherited my Dad's jet black hair and also the added benefit of having some serious gray hairs invading my head since my early 30's, I've been having to color my hair on a regular basis, cause goodness knows I don't want to look older than I am! I've tried various hair colors and having worked in a hair salon for several years in Atlanta, knew that I could quickly and easily do this at home.
My recent favorite is L'Oreal Natural Match. I mean, if it's good enough for Penelope Cruz, then surely it's good enough for me. {Except my encouraging sister informed me that "I'm sure L'Oreal Natural Match has NEVER graced the locks of Penelope Cruz's hair!"} Well, thank you, sister, for that spreading of sunshine!
I'll have to say I really liked it and I'm pleased with the results---just like Penelope Cruz's... except without that illustrious shine, light reflecting body and manageability, no sign of split ends anywhere, healthy bounce, not to mention the flawless skin, perfect teeth and dimpled chin. Other than that, it was just like hers! {Sarcasm mixed with dellusion, people!}
But what I'm not happy about is the white hair I had to pluck from my eyebrows this morning. WHITE eyebrow hair people, not just graying! So, do I dare put this home color kit on my eyebrows too? It's either that or continue to pluck and then I'll eventually have to draw them on just like the "big hair channel". I don't think I could pull off that constant "surprised" look!
Or, I could let it go and look like "Doc" from Back to the Future.
Lab coat anyone?

Too funny!

Yes, you can put some hair color on your eyebrows with a q-tip. When my hair used to be very blonde I decided to make my eyebrows blonde, too. It worked.
ROFLing...sorry, is that rude? Can't help it even if it is I'm afraid! Besides, I needed a good laugh today anyway! Thanks for stepping up!
I have often been told that gray hair means wisdom. If that is the case then why do so many of us women (and some men) shamelessly cover it at such expensive costs?? I believe the bible says in proverbs even a fool looks wise when he's silent. so pass the color and I will just be quiet. :)

Funny...so sorry...not laughing at you...but w/you...cos heaven knows...if I looked close enough I could probably find the same (sad thing is...I have really dark and very thick hair...my eyebrows not so much)...so actually when I go in for a wax I have them tinted...b/c they are so light brown...OR maybe NOT...I'll have to look closer...hey the gray in the eyebrows beats a black hair sprouting from your nose or chin...so it beats the alternative (sorry yuck!!)...I say...pluck, today...tomorrow if 2 come in its place...L'Oreal...here we come!
Blessings....

Okay, I'm coming clean here too. I'm just lovin' me some haircolor. I'm actually doing a little "happy dance" for it. Because I'm never wamt to be gray. Luckily for me my eyebrows and eyelashes are very, very light. As a result you can's see any gray hair. Now if I could just get rid of the hair on my chiny chin chin.

I have one white hair growing next to my lip. It's tough and sticks straight out. I have to pluck that sucker about every other week! So far, no gray in the eyebrows - but my hair has tons of gray - and tons of hair coloring and highlights!
Sorry, Tracey...but I've decided to jus EMBRACE THE GREY! It's not so bad. I have people ask me all the time who colors my hair. I just tell them my hairdresser is "HEAVENLY!" My eyebrows have always been very light, so I just use a blond pencil on them. And when my little kids at school say that grey hair means "You're old." I tell them, "NO, it means you're SMART!"
You are hilarious! I think you should color your eyebrows a completely other color (the temporary kind)! See if hubby notices! haha
You are too funny!
I would probably be white by now if I didn't get my hair colored. I just can't embrace it, unfortunately. My eyebrows are very thin so I have to use brow pencil. As my brows have gotten thinner, my chin "thorns" have become more stubborn, and it's an every day battle to keep those suckers under control. I HATE it.
you gotta dye 'em...
you just gotta.
:)
Been there, done that!!! LOL!!!
You are hilarious and I knew you looked like someone familiar! Now I have it figured out...Penelope Cruz!!!! Just kidding... you are a lot cuter... and much nicer, I'm sure!
Don't worry about the eyebrows! Is it just me or am I the only one who doesn't even notice the color of eyebrows??? I will be more observant because of you! Thanks!
...And have you ever had your eyebrows "threaded"? It works great and is a lot cheaper than waxing... I'm not good at plucking mine!
You are such a scream.
Susan
Only you Tracey...only you!
I'm with Mandy...I'd totally die them...Plucking a gray out of your head isn't so noticeable, but eyebrows are altogether different..
:)

I'd definitely dye them!...I have blonde eyebrows, and have had them done before. They just left it on for like 5 minutes though!
I know you must be crazy busy, but I surely do miss you. Take care.
Girl, you know your hair looks better than "Penelopes" even when it is gray!!! :) I have to tell myself that all of the time! This is too funny. Go ahead and tryout those eyebrows!
Isn't it fun getting old?
HA!
