This and that...

Today I took a mental health day. I don't work at the school on Tuesdays because that's usually my sales meeting day at the real estate company, but we didn't have sales meeting today. So, for the first time in a long time, I didn't have anything on my "schedule". For a few minutes this morning, I thought about cleaning the house, but I haven't had a day off in so long that I just decided to lay around all day--and that's just what I did--and I enjoyed every minute of it!

On another note, Zack came home with these the other day...

Yeah...it makes it all the more real and guess what? Mama's not ready!!! The days are slipping by so fast that he will be in college before I know it. I'm sad, but I'm so proud of him!

Speaking of time...I'm gonna end this right now so I can watch the Barbara Walters special on how to live to be a hundred and fifty! Can you image?! Let's check it out...

7 sweet friends had to say...:

Good for you! We all need a day to just to nothing.

We watched "Dancing With The Stars" (loved that show) and then watched the Barbra Walters special. Facinating!

Hugs!

Glad you took a real day off. One of these times I gonna do that too.

I missed that Barbara Walters special, but read about it in the paper.

Imagine - if you lived till 150, you could hang out with your 100-year-old grandchildren, ha, ha!!

Good for you! That kind of day is good for the body and the soul!
Graduation is going to be OK. You are going to be so proud of him and excited for him, too. You'll do great!

Oh - what I wouldn't give for one of those days! Though sometimes I think with my mental state I'd need a whole week! Hope all is well with you!

I'm so glad you have some Tracey time! You go "90/nothing" all the time! Zack's invitation are so pretty. I got Brittney's in the mail last week :( See you Sunday!

Mental health days are so important. How is real estate down there? Things are picking up a little here- of course, this is a big retirement and vacation area. I see on the photo of your son's senior "stuff" that they still do those little name cards. I think I still have mine - 45 years later!!
