Please pray, my friends

I just received a call from my Mom that my Dad is in the E.R. at Southern Regional. I knew things were not sounding good when she told me last week that he has not been eating or drinking anything. Today was the 10th day of not being able to keep anything down. When the nurse came this afternoon, she was alarmed at how pale my Dad was and said he needed to get to the hospital. She called his Doctor and they made the arrangements. Mom said they are getting ready to give him an I.V. of fluids and she will let me know what they say after the doctor sees him. So we wait...and we pray.

I just had to post this picture. It's usually on my dresser and one of my favorite pictures of me and my Dad. He always tells me that when I was born he said "Finally! A dark hair, dark-eyed girl!" I love him...and miss him.

6 sweet friends had to say...:

I'm praying Tracey. I'm sorry for all of this. I can't imagine how hard this must be. But God is faithful. He will give you and your family whatever measure of strength you need.

That is a sweet picture, Tracey! I'm sure I have NO idea what it feels like to be in your position, but you can rest assured that I care and have been praying for you and your family. I still think about your "Man in the mirror" post last month and how hard it must be to see him like this...and your mom being in her position as well. Know that I care and will be praying for all of you!

Please let us know if we can do anything....and I mean anything. We are not that far away at all. We are praying for "Blackie" and your Mom too. I am so sorry that your family is having to go through all of this. He's always been such a tough guy. Love you.

Tracey - WOW - that is such a sweet picture. I thank you for sharing this, as I know how tender this is....
My prayer for you!

" Lord, I know that right now you are with Tracey and her family. I know you have heard their prayers, and we trust you our Father with Tracey's Dad -- we ask that you would wrap your arms around your servant and tenderly minister to him. We rest in you in this hour of uncertainty. I ask for peace for Tracey and her Mom and others in that sweet family. I pray that you would give Gary guidance as he minsters to Tracey, as he has walked the difficult path of aging parents.

We bless and love you dear Father. Thank you for the sweet relationship that Tracey shares with her Dad.

Amen!

( followed by a big HUG to tell you that you are loved)

Julie
